Introduction
This is my writing portfolio where I have provided many of my business writings that I have produced. I created this portfolio to show others my style of writing when it relates to business. this will also give you a look as to who I am in business. I have chosen to show my writings that will achieve my goals the most.

Biography
My name is Nicole Yanoff I am currently a Junior at the University of Delaware where I am studying Hospitality Business Management. On campus I am part of Greek life in Alpha Epsilon Phi. I am pursuing a career in the hospitality industry in hopes to become an event planner.

Above you will see my A3 writing assignment, in which I wrote a memo to Mcdonalds. In this memo I explained what Mcdonalds needed to change about their business report.
Writing Exercise: One Thing You’ll Take into Your Career
In this assignment I wrote a memo to my professor stating what I have learned this semester. I shared multiple takeaways I have received from this class and how I have become a better writer because of it.
Good Business Writing
As stated in chapter 4.3 good writing is one that, follows the rules, is easy to read, attracts the reader, meets the reader’s expectations, and is clear, concise, efficient, and effective. In this piece of business writing I selected, it is an email from Amazon to a customer relaying information about their refund. I believe this is an example of good writing. Firstly, it is very clear and concise, it gets straight to the point and has all the information easily accessible to the customer. The reader would be attracted to this since this information is relevant and important to them given that they probably want to know information about their refund. it is also an effective and efficient email that shares everything the reader will need to know about their refund, the readers needs are met.

For this business writing assignment, I found an example of good business writing and explained why it was good. I chose to analyze a customer support email from Amazon.
Graded Discussion: Analyzing Document Design
This document is a project management service agreement and it demonstrates good document design. The first thing that stands out is the title and headings. The title shared exactly what the document is and it is in big capital letters to draw the reader right there. As for the headings, they are informative, bold, and tell you exactly in that section of the document. The document is very informative but there are a few things I would have changed. The payout at the top is a bit confusing and wordy. The staff at the stop stating when this document was made should have been in a list style or something that you can read quickly and not in a paragraph. The font is easily readable and using bold words for the heading helps attract the reader to the sections they need to be reading.

The last assignment I am sharing is my analysis of good document design. The document above is a project management service agreement and this was a good example of document design.
